Couto Homes and the Granbury Police Department invite you to The Changing of the Leash, a special community celebration honoring K9 Paul’s retirement and welcoming Granbury’s newest K9.

Seven years ago, Couto Homes had the privilege of sponsoring K9 Paul as he began serving our community. Now, we’re proud to continue that commitment by sponsoring his successor.

Join us for a morning featuring Paul’s retirement recognition, a live K9 demonstration, the new K9’s community-voted name reveal, handler Q&A, photo opportunities with both K9s, coffee from Longboy Coffee, pastries from Baked!, and more.

Thursday, November 19 | 9–11 AM
Hotel Lucy Courtyard | 530 E. Pearl St., Granbury, TX

The event is free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required. Can’t join us in person? The event will also be livestreamed through The Changing of the Leash Facebook event page - link below.

Please leave personal dogs at home. Overflow parking will be available at City Beach across the street, with police directing guests.

We look forward to honoring Paul, welcoming Granbury’s newest K9, and celebrating with the community.
