🐾❤️ Celebrating 1 Year of Our Amazing Team! ❤️🐾

August is a special month here at The Pet Hospital of Granbury because we get to celebrate FOUR incredible team members reaching their one-year anniversary with us! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating Hadley, Heather, Kara, and Kalila on one year of being part of our Pet Hospital family! 🐾

Over the past year, each of these ladies has brought their own unique talents, compassion, hard work, and personality to our team. From caring for our patients behind the scenes to helping our clients and their pets feel comfortable and cared for, they have each made a lasting impact on our hospital.

❤️ Hadley – Started with us as a hospital assistant and has grown into a Hospital Assistant & Nurse, taking on new responsibilities and continuing to grow with our team.

❤️ Heather – Has stepped into her role as a nurse with dedication, compassion, and a willingness to jump in wherever she is needed.

❤️ Kara – Brings valuable experience, knowledge, and a genuine love for animals to our nursing team.

❤️ Kalila – One of the friendly faces you’ll see helping throughout the clinic, always ready to lend a hand and take great care of our patients.

We are so incredibly thankful to have each of you on our team! Thank you for everything you do for our patients, our clients, and for one another. 🐶🐱🐾

We’re making it easier to stay one step ahead of your pet’s care! Going forward, before you leave your appointment, we’ll help you reserve your pet’s next recommended visit.

Don’t know what your schedule looks like six months from now? Neither do we! We’ll text you in advance to confirm your appointment or give you plenty of time to change it. Booking ahead simply means your pet has a spot on the calendar.
Next visit booked 🥳 One less thing to remember ✅ Easy to reschedule if needed 🕰️

There’s a reason so many businesses book your next visit before you leave: it just works better for everyone.
Your dentist figured it out. Your hairstylist figured it out. Now your vet is getting in on it, too. 🐾

📢📢IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT📢📢

We want to share an important update about our weekend availability.
Dr. O'Neil, who has mainly been providing care for our Saturday appointments, has let us know she was leaving our practice, with her last day being on August 22. We're grateful for the care and compassion she's provided to our patients and wish her all the best in her next chapter.

Because we do not currently have another veterinarian available to provide Saturday appointments, we will be temporarily pausing our Saturday hours beginning September 5, 2026.

Here's what this means for you:

Our weekday hours remain unchanged. We're here Monday through Friday and look forward to continuing to care for your pets.
If you have an upcoming Saturday appointment after August 29th, a member of our team will be reaching out to help you reschedule at a convenient weekday time.

We're actively recruiting a veterinarian to help us bring Saturday hours back in the future, and we'll be sure to share updates as soon as we have them.

We know Saturday appointments are an important convenience for many families, and we understand this change may be disappointing. Please know this was not a decision we made lightly. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust in our team.

🚨 **SCAM ALERT: PLEASE READ & SHARE** 🚨
We want to make our community aware of a very convincing scam currently targeting pet owners.
A pet owner recieves a call from a number that appears to be from their local veterinary clinic. The caller tells you that your missing pet has been brought to the hospital, and is currently undergoing emergency surgery.
The scammers then transferred you to another person and demand immediate payment through Zelle in order to continue treatment.
What makes this even more convincing and frightening is that they send an AI-generated image of your pet in surgery. The image will look similar to your missing pet.
⚠️ **PLEASE KNOW:**
The Pet Hospital of Granbury will NEVER request payment through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or similar peer-to-peer payment services.
We also have established protocols for stray or lost animals brought to us in critical condition by Good Samaritans. We will never pressure someone into immediately sending money through a third-party payment app in order for us to provide emergency care.
If you ever receive a call claiming to be from our hospital and something does not feel right, hang up and call us directly using our publicly listed phone number. Even if the incoming call appears to show our number, caller ID can be spoofed.
Please share this with other pet owners , particularly anyone who currently has a missing pet posted online. These scammers are using an incredibly vulnerable and frightening situation to target people, and AI-generated images can make the story feel very real.
If you have a missing pet, please also be cautious about how much personal information you share publicly.
