Unfortunately, it’s time for one of those difficult conversations about a price increase — and this one affects one of the top raw brands we carry at Graham Pet & Hay Market: Northwest Naturals Raw Pet Food.

We have been asking questions ourselves, but unfortunately there has been very limited information available beyond the company’s official statement and video posted on their website. From what we’ve been told by distributors, Northwest Naturals has absorbed rising production and ingredient costs over the past several years and has only now passed those increases along.

To be completely honest, this is one of the largest pet food price increases we have seen in many years, with some products increasing between 30–40%.

We know this brand has become a trusted staple for many of your pets and families, and we understand that these increases may make it difficult for some customers to continue feeding it long term.
