Sunny Sky's is an animal rescue organization formed in 2010 by Dr. Illina Berton. Thanks to the help of many volunteers we are now a full fledged non profit organization, acquiring our 501(c)3 status in 2011. We rely solely on volunteers to continue on our path to saving as many four legged friends as possible. Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue, a registered 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization. All donations to support the rescue efforts are tax deductible. We at Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue believe that if we all work together with the same common goal in mind, we can change the lives of many!! We believe that everyone can help, and all help is greatly appreciated!! Sharing our animals that need to be adopted, sharing of your ideas, sharing your contacts or resources, donations big & small, are truly appreciated! Rocket is a sweet boy who enjoys the quiet life. He enjoys being near his people and likes to be your little shadow. He does love his toys too and enjoys playtime. He would love a nice, calm home where he can relax with those he loves. He may take a little bit to settle in and feel comfortable in his new surroundings, but once he does, you’ll have a new best friend! He arrives to us with his buddy, Gomez, also available for adoption.

Gomez is a friendly boy who is full of personality. He loves to play and chase after his toys. He enjoys having his cheeks scratched and rubbing against you for affection. He can occasionally get a bit overstimulated so he would do best in a home with no young kids. He would prefer to be the only kitty in the home or with his buddy, Rocket who is also available for adoption, as he is not fond of meeting new animals.

Hi there, I’m Homera! I’m a gentle soul with a quiet charm and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. I might be a little shy at first and prefer to take things slow, but once I feel safe, I’ll show you just how affectionate and devoted I can be.

I value my independence and appreciate a calm, patient environment where I can settle in at my own pace. Sometimes I need a little reassurance — a cozy hiding spot, a soft voice, and someone who understands that good things take time.

Once I come out of my shell, I’ll be right there with soft purrs, gentle headbutts, and loyal companionship. I may not rush to greet you, but when I do, you’ll know you’ve found a friend for life.

I can be a bit of a talker when I’m comfortable, so a quieter home (with thicker walls!) might suit me best. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who just needs a little patience to shine, I’d love to meet you.

Gizmo and Bandit are gentle, mild-mannered brothers! They are bonded and must be adopted together - that just guarantees twice the love! Gizmo is very friendly and the first to greet you. Bandit tends to be a bit more shy but quickly opens up with some gentle love and affection. These boys are both absolute sweethearts. They love attention and spending quality time with their people.

She is a very food motivated lady - crack open a can of food and she'll be your best friend! She arrived to us with her two kittens. Motherhood was not her favorite adventure; she prefers to be the star of the show! We believe she would do best as an only kitty.

Ferris Wheel is a handsome little guy with a thoughtful soul. He’s on the shy side and prefers to take things at his own pace, quietly observing the world before deciding when it’s safe to join in. While he may not be the type to enjoy being picked up or cuddled right away, he shows affection in his own subtle, meaningful ways once he feels secure.

Ferris Wheel can be a bit temperamental, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home with someone who understands that not all cats are lap cats—and that’s okay. With time, consistency, and respect for his boundaries, he’ll reward you with trust and companionship that feels truly earned.
