This has been a hard summer. My oldest had a traumatic mental health experience in mid-May that has been hell to navigate. I am so grateful that my vibrant, sweet, sassy, 8-going-on-18 year old daughter is back to her normal self, after 8 loooooong weeks of struggle.
All this to say, my page has been a bit quieter lately while we focused on family. We had a few dogs boarding with us here and there, but I cancelled the majority of my bookings and stopped taking new clients. We will continue with a low key summer, and hope to re-open the schedule to new dogs this fall.
So, it's been a breathe of fresh air to have 2 familiar faces with us this week - Bingo the labradoodle and Tessa the husky/chihuahua mix. Tessa has stayed with us 15+ times over the past few years, and this is Bingo's 3rd week-long visit. They both race in the front door like we're their second home and settle in to our routine within seconds. I'm grateful for the bit of normalcy they bring to our days!
