Persephone takes her role as supervisor very seriously 🐱🩺

Caught this moment of Dr. Lewis updating a kennel… with Persephone perched on her shoulder to make sure everything was purr-fect. Around here, quality control comes with whiskers—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💕

❄️ Cold weather reminder ❄️
When temperatures drop, please remember to bring your pets inside. Even short exposure to cold can be dangerous, especially for small, senior, or short-haired pets. If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them. 🐾

🎄✨ Pets + Christmas Trees = Holiday Chaos!
To avoid kitty tree climbing and curious canine mishaps:
• Secure your tree to prevent tipping
• Avoid tinsel (dangerous if swallowed)
• Keep breakable ornaments high up
• Cover water for real trees

A little planning goes a long way to keep your home festive and pet-safe!

❄️ Baby, it’s cold outside — even for pets!
As temperatures drop, remember:
• Short-haired pets may need a winter coat
• Wipe paws after walks to remove ice + salt
• Provide warm bedding, especially for seniors

If your pet seems stiff, slow, or uncomfortable, winter might be worsening arthritis. We can help!

🍂 Fall is in full swing! As the weather cools down, here are a few ways to keep your pets happy and healthy:

🐾 Check for ticks after walks in the leaves
🐾 Keep pets warm on chilly mornings
🐾 Update microchip info before holiday travel
🐾Keep antifreeze and rodenticides stored safely — they’re highly toxic to pets

Stay safe, stay cozy, and enjoy the season!!

Thanksgiving is all about food, family... and keeping pets out of the leftovers!

🍗Plain, boneless, and skinless turkey is generally safe for pets in small portions, but other table scraps—including gravy, sauces, dressing, and meat or poultry fat or skin—can be hard for pets to digest, and sometimes even a small amount can cause pancreatitis.
🍖The bones themselves can cause choking or intestinal blockage.
🍇Plus, many foods that are healthy for people are poisonous to pets, including onions, raisins, and grapes.

If you want to share a Thanksgiving treat with your pet, make or buy a treat made just for them!
