If you’re new around here, let me introduce you to the crazy little crew behind Bark Brush & Bubbles!
A few years ago, I was a bank teller.
Then I decided to take a giant leap of faith, leave the bank, and chase something I actually loved — taking care of animals. 🐾
Fast forward to now and somehow I have my own grooming shop, a house full of love and chaos.
Our personal zoo includes:
-Our 2½-year-old Black Lab Willow. Sweet, goofy, and obviously convinced shes the princess.
-Our 4-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix Arlo... because apparently one opinionated breed wasn’t enough.
- Frog — our handsome retired Master Hunter who turns 11 this September! He’s the distinguished old man of the crew and absolutely knows it.
Dennis — my husband raises and trains Lab puppies for his boss… which means there are almost always extra puppy feet, squeaky toys, and general chaos running around our house. But funny enough, the bank is actually where we met ❤️
Every Monday evening, this guy would come to the bank to deposit his paycheck. Eventually, those deposits turned into conversations… and those conversations turned into a whole life together.
And then there’s Miss Charlette 🩷 — our sweet 6-month-old baby girl, who is growing up thinking dog are just a normal part of life.
And honestly? They are. 😂
This little business started with one big dream, and three summers later, I’m surrounded by exactly what I hoped for — dogs, puppies, family, and a whole lot of fur.
Between grooming dogs all day, coming home to our own dogs, puppy feet everywhere, and raising a baby… life is definitely never boring around here.
And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
