Roxie's Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer run, no kill, free-roaming cat sanctuary. We find forever homes for the many adoptable cats in our care, and provide a permanent home for those who are ill, or in difficult circumstances.

Another feature 🥰 This is Faith. Mari found Faith wandering around outside of the shelter in the middle of winter, covered in frost. She was immediately warmed and taken care of. The vet said Faith had the worst case of frost bite she had ever seen. In result she lost her ears, the tip of her tail, and her 2 front paws. Faith recovered and she now happily lives at Roxie’s Place with her best friend Sadie ❤️

Sometimes Roxie’s Place becomes home to cats and kittens in unexpected ways. Featured below is a mamma and 4 babies who were found in carriers on the road at the end our driveway. Mari was on her way out to run some errands and instead happened upon a kitty family in need. Donating to Roxie’s Place helps us to continue to provide care and medical coverage ❤️

Roxie’s Place is currently home to 18 FeLV cats. Often times, Roxie’s Place will take FeLV cats from other area shelters who cannot care for them. Cats with FeLV are difficult to adopt out due to their condition. These cats will likely live out their lives together in our designated Leukemia rooms. Donating through our NEPA Gives link helps Roxie’s Place continue to provide the best care.

Unfortunately NEPA Gives has disqualified us from participating in this year’s fundraiser. Because we don’t receive enough money through public donations, we are classified as a private charity.

Therefore, the very reason that we are classified as private, ironically makes it more difficult to raise funds. We would like to thank everyone who generously donated to Roxie’s Place over the last three years through NEPA Gives
