Seven years in the making… and we’re just getting started! 🤎🐴

Seven years ago, we began a journey of purchasing a variety of fillies with a long-term vision: to one day own a stallion that would complement them and help us build the kind of breeding program we dreamed of.

We started each of those fillies ourselves, carefully retained the ones we felt best fit our program, and have since added a few older mares along the way. Every decision has been made with the future in mind.

Throughout that journey, we kept our eyes open for a stallion with the right combination of performance pedigree, a solid and versatile mind, and the athleticism to take our offspring in any direction.

Then came Metallic Berry. ❤️

Berry checks every one of those boxes. He has proven himself in a variety of environments and keeps his composure even in the middle of chaos. His natural athleticism translates into an incredibly smooth ride, effortless lead changes, and fluid transitions. He brings together the mind, movement, and ability that we value so highly in our program.

And the exciting part? This is still only the beginning.

Berry’s offspring are now scattered across the country, and we’re already seeing them demonstrate so many of the same qualities we admire in him. Watching the next generation develop and seeing our vision begin to come to life is what makes these seven years of planning, learning, and hard work so rewarding.

We’ve always believed that building something worthwhile takes time, intention, and a willingness to trust the process. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, excited about the direction we’re headed, and even more excited about what the future holds for Metallic Berry and his offspring.

Seven years of vision. One stallion who fits the plan. A whole lot of potential still ahead.

We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings! 🤎

Thank you for everyone who has been a part of our journing and thank you following along. Let us know if you would like a contract for 2027.

Our little Easter dun roan c**t is headed to his new home in Michigan today! It has taken years of small decisions that add up to the foals developed at AKB and this foals momma is the first one mentioned when people ask if we have a favorite horse on the property.

This is Twister's 3rd foal and the first one leaving our farm because we can simply not keep them all or we totally would. We are super excited for Cheryl and the direction she will take this little guy. I'm sure we'll see more of him in the future.

🎶 Sound on 🎶

We all have experienced feeling tired and we all have an expiration date but how awesome is it to serve a God who is everlasting and provides the gift of new life in heaven if we accept it.

The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

😍 Shaping up like a dream 😍

Kindergarten has officially begun for the foals at AKB. They've had minimal human interaction since the day they're born and now it's time for them to figure out the feel of the halter and how to respond to pressure from the lead rope.
