ATTENTION PLEASE !!!!
Very important announcement.
For the first time in 40 years of doing business Refreshing Paws will temporarily close for one week to make some repairs and give myself and my staff some very well needed rest! 
I am letting you know ahead of time so hopefully it will not impact any of your own vacation plans I apologize for the inconvenience, but I really do have a great group of people working for me right now, as you all know and I think they deserve a little break!
The dates we will be closed are Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the wonderful clients that you are and for having the best pets ever! I am deeply grateful for the trust you have put in us all these years and I appreciate you !

I would like to give a huge shout out to everyone who donated to our first ever pet food drive! It was amazing and we collected just shy of 100 bags of food and also a bunch of cans and some treats. We absolutely have the best clients and employees to have made this happen. I am grateful for all of you! And hope you realize that you made a difference for a hungry animal and a struggling owner!
I also appreciate Willows coffee truck (owned by Maria, a former employee) who jumped at the chance to help get the word out! Look her up the next time you need a good cup of coffee!

HELP WANTED WEEKENDS!!!!!!
Refreshing Paws  is looking for some hard-working animal lovers to join our staff. This is a Physical job but you do get rewarded with lots of hugs and kisses from all your new furry friends !! The weekend hours are Saturdays 8 AM to 6 PM and Sundays 8 to 11 AM and 4 to 7 PM.  take one shift or take all the shifts, whatever fits your schedule. Feel free to stop over and talk to us about it or you can fill out an application online.

2 IMPORTANT MESSAGES!!!!Please read!!!!
We are in our last week of our month long pet food drive and I would like to thank everyone who has been kind enough to donate, that being said I would really really appreciate it if anyone who reads this and shares it could please be so kind as to drop off some food so we can end the month with a bang. People who cannot afford to buy food for themselves and their families, certainly cannot afford to buy food for their pets. And as we all know, they really are a necessary and probably the most loving member of our families so they deserve a treat every now and then.!
Secondly, on a more serious note, I must respectfully request that everyone please bring in a copy of your pets updated vaccinations or have your veterinarians email them to us. Every time you go to your vet, you can ask them to send us a copy of updated vaccinations and they will. We are spending a ridiculous amount of time calling veterinarians who no longer answer the phone so we need to leave messages requesting vaccinations. And to be honest a lot of times those vaccinations are not up-to-date. We’ve tried very hard to be understanding about this, but frankly, we also do not have the time to be chasing down this information. So this is a heads up that we will no longer take animals in for boarding if we do not have proof of updated vaccinations. It is unfair to the clients and their pets who are up-to-date on their vaccinations, to expose them to any unvaccinated animals. 
I am blessed to have the staff that I have working for me right now. They are a wonderful group of animal lovers and work very hard at making sure all of your pets are happy and healthy while they are here.  I appreciate them and I also appreciate all of you!!!!

We were delighted to help get Lincoln to his photoshoot on his family’s special day! He was such a good boy and congratulations to Natalie and Dylan! What a gorgeous family!
