CJ would want me to keep learning and growing. So that is what I am going to do.

I am looking at more courses to expand my knowledge base to better help you and your pups.

So my question to you is this - what would you benefit the most from from your local dog trainer?

I am currently looking at a fitness course as well as a nutrition course but they are pricey so if you could only pick one of those which would go for? Or it could be neither and something else comes to mind?

I was asked to talk about Heart of the Beast so here's my take!

German Shepherds are amazing dogs, but they are a lot of work. I know everyone says that about their dog breed but the truth is GSDs require a lot. You breathe in their direction wrong and something has broken on them.

Over the course of CJ's 13 years of life at just the regular vet alone, not counting trips to the ER, I spent $15,109.09.

Thats just to keep him in tip-top shape.

Its that time of year again. Cold one moment, warm the next, then back to cold. It effects us humans by giving us a cold.

Your dog can be effected by it too! Its called Kennel Cough but its basically a cold for dogs.

Most noticeable/common symptom is a dry, honking cough.

Other symptoms include decreased appetite, lethargy, runny nose/eyes among others.

If your dog is sick in any way please skip the walk, keep them home from daycare/training, and talk to your vet.

There are no known to me cases of kennel cough in the area. This is just your reminder that its the time of year we start to see it again (spring and fall when the seasons are changing is the most common time, but it can happen year round).
