Meet the tiniest romance nobody asked for: ear mites. This microscopic meet-up is funny on screen, but ear mites can be seriously irritating for your pet. If your dog or cat is scratching, shaking their head, or showing unusual ear debris, schedule an exam with us!

Brutus here is a 10 year old boxer who has been experiencing some stiffness & pain from osteoarthritis 😥
OA impacts an estimated 80% of dogs over 8 years old! 😳 here at AMC, one of the tools we use to help reduce pain & inflammation is the Companion Laser. Brutus has had 6 laser treatments for his hips & stifles. Mom & dad say he is already more energetic and playing like a puppy again! ❤️

What to Expect: UTI Vet Visit at AMC 🩺
When your pup shows signs of a urinary tract infection—frequent urination, straining, or accidents—here's what happens during their visit with us. Swipe to follow along with this sweet patient's appointment! ➡️

Step 1: Arrival & Check-In – We start every visit with a calm, welcoming environment.
Step 2: Building Trust, Patience & Comfort– Treats help! We make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable throughout their visit.
Step 3: Physical Exam – Our team checks overall health, palpates the abdomen, and assesses for any discomfort or abnormalities.
Step 4: Positive Reinforcement – More treats = happy patients! We reward cooperation every step of the way.
Step 5: Ready for Diagnostics – Avery does an excellent job demonstrating that staying calm and cooperative makes the process smoother for everyone. Our team helps keep your pet calm with gentle restraint and lots of love.
Step 6: Treatment Plan – If a UTI is confirmed, we prescribe the appropriate antibiotic to clear the infection
Step 7: All Done! – This happy face says it all. Most UTI visits are quick, stress-free, and end with a clear path to feeling better.
