Junior Clinic and Horse Show!

Open to all riders 18 & under - you don’t have to be a part of our program to participate!

Clinic - if you’ve never been to a show, I highly recommend that you come to the clinic! It’s like a practice show where judge will go step by step through the whole process and what to expect.

Show - invite your friends and family to come and watch! Students are grouped into divisions by age and ability level so make the competition as fair as possible.

Cost - $85 entry fee for each date. If you need to use one of our horses, we do charge a horse “rental” fee of $25 to cover our instructors’ time.

If you’re part of The Barn’s lesson program, please contact Elizabeth to sign up so I can coordinate horses. If you’re a local junior rider who wants to participate, please contact Megan to sign up.

Summer Session 2 riding lesson openings! We only have mornings available, all evening and weekend spots have been filled.

Eight weeks long - Aug 10 to Oct 3.

Students learn to groom, saddle, ride, and care for their horses. We do things a little differently in the summer since it’s a little hotter outside - we also incorporate unmounted lessons so students learn all kinds of other things about horse care and handling: basic first aid, feeding, identifying colors/markings/breeds, how to trailer a horse, lunge a horse, hoof care, and so much more. We aim for six riding and three unmounted lessons over the course of this session. If it’s over 105 degrees, we will do an unmounted lesson.

We have 60-minute private lessons for children ages 5-15, English or Western style — all lessons are $60/week private pay or $70/week ESA (we are a vendor on Class Wallet).

If your child has a special needs, please let me know as all of our instructors have different levels of experience with adaptive lessons.
