“Sometimes I wish I could photosynthesize so that just by being, just by shimmering at the meadow's edge or floating lazily on a pond, I could be doing the work of the world while standing silent in the sun.” - Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass

Some thoughts this morning from
Victor Frankl – Man’s Search For Meaning (1959,
1962, 1984, 1992, 2006, p. 73)

“Everything can be taken from a man except one
thing: the last of the human freedoms-to choose
one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to
choose one’s own way.”

“The way they bore their suffering was a genuine
inner achievement. It is this spiritual freedom-which
can not be taken away-that makes life meaningful
and purposeful.”

“Everywhere man is confronted with fate, with the
chance of achieving something through his own
suffering.”
