Dear Valued Clients and Friends,
It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that we share some important news: after much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our dog boarding facility.
Serving you and your beloved pets has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Over the last few years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful dogs—each with their own personality and special place in our hearts. We are deeply thankful for the trust you placed in us to look after your furry family members.
This decision was not made lightly. Like many small businesses, we have faced a variety of challenges, and ultimately, we believe this is the right step forward at this time. Due to John’s stroke and resulting medical issues, he will be retiring and therefore, we will be selling the cabin.
Our final day of operation will be July 31st, 2026. If you have any upcoming reservations beyond that date, we will be reaching out individually to assist with alternative arrangements where possible.
We cannot express enough how much your support, kindness, and loyalty have meant to us throughout this journey. The memories we've made—with both you and your dogs—will stay with us always.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your pets’ lives.

With this being said, we have been asked for recommendations for who we use for our pets. Becca with The Ruby Den is amazing, and her level of care for animals has been great! She comes to our house, which is great as we both have anxious and nervous pups. Check her out!

If your dog gets nervous or frightened by fireworks, now is a great time to talk with your veterinarian about whether an anxiety medication might be appropriate for them during their stay.

While we'll do everything we can to keep your pup safe, comfortable, and calm, fireworks can be overwhelming for some dogs. Planning ahead can make a big difference in helping them feel more relaxed and reducing stress.

If your veterinarian prescribes medication, please be sure to bring it in its original labeled container with clear dosing instructions when you drop your dog off.

We want every guest to have the safest and most comfortable holiday possible. Thank you for helping us make that happen! ❤️🐾
