This is Dude, and he is one big happy Idaho S**g! 😂🐶

We absolutely LOVE when our patients come through the doors jumping for joy because they’re excited to see us! 🥹❤️

Dude certainly didn't waste any time showing us just how happy he was to be here. With all that bouncing, wiggling, and enthusiasm, we think it's safe to say this boy has decided the vet clinic is a pretty fun place to visit!

We love seeing those happy faces and wiggly tails—and especially when our patients are excited to see us instead of running for the door!

Keep jumping for joy, Dude! We’re always happy to see you! 💙🐾

🐾 A Fun Day in Fairfield! 🐾

We had such a wonderful house call in Fairfield! We had the pleasure of performing health exams and vaccinating 10 dogs at the Luther family’s beautiful ranch. Most of these sweet pups were incredibly friendly, fun, and happy to see us! ❤️

Lori was definitely one of our favorites—she was athletic, sweet, curious, and very “helpful” during her exam! 🐶💕

A big thank-you to the Luther family for inviting us to their beautiful ranch and trusting us with the care of their furry family members. We always love getting to provide veterinary care right where pets are most comfortable—at home! 🏡🐾

🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who make our clinic—and our patients’ lives—better every single day!

Vet techs are the heart of veterinary medicine. They comfort nervous patients, assist with exams and procedures, monitor anesthesia, draw blood, administer medications, educate pet owners, clean up the messes (big and small 😅), and somehow manage to do a hundred things at once—all while giving their patients endless compassion and care.

Our veterinary technicians work hard behind the scenes and right alongside our veterinarians, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them. Their knowledge, dedication, patience, and love for animals make such a difference. ❤️

To our amazing vet tech team: Thank you for everything you do! We appreciate you more than you know, and we are so lucky to have you on our team! 🐶🐱🐾

🐾 MEET SZIKLA! 🐾

Szikla is a 12-week-and-2-day-old Mudi (pronounced “MOO-dee”), a rare and fascinating breed from Hungary. 🐾

And his name is just as special! 🥰 “Szikla” is the Hungarian word for “rock” or “rocky cliff.” 🪨❤️

But what exactly is a Mudi? 🤔

The Mudi is a Hungarian herding and farm dog bred to be courageous, alert, intelligent, and eager to work. Historically, they were used to herd livestock—including large and challenging animals. 🐑🐄

That working brain is still very much a part of the breed today! 🧠🐾 Mudis can excel at:

🐑 Herding
🐕‍🦺 Agility
🏃 Dog jumping
🐕 Rally
🥏 Flyball & disc dog
💃 Musical canine freestyle
🎓 Tricks & training

They are quick learners, energetic, alert, and driven to have a job. ⚡🧠

🏡 Is a Mudi right for every home?

A Mudi can be an amazing companion for someone who enjoys training, dog sports, hiking, teaching tricks, or simply giving their dog plenty of opportunities to learn and work. 🥏🐕‍🦺🥾❤️

They thrive when both their bodies and brains are appropriately challenged.

But they may not be the best fit for someone looking for a dog content with a couple of walks and very little else. A bored Mudi may become demanding, vocal, or find their own entertainment! 😅

Their naturally alert nature can also make them watchful and vocal. 👀🐕

Intelligence and energy aren't simply about needing more exercise. Mudis need opportunities to think, learn, problem-solve, and use their natural instincts. 🧠✨

That makes them especially exciting companions for training, dog sports, herding, hiking, and even van-travel adventures! 🐕🥏🐑🥾🚐❤️

At just 12 weeks and 2 days old, Szikla has a LOT of growing, learning, and discovering ahead of him. 🥰🐾

🐾✨ DO YOU REMEMBER US? ✨🐾

Some of you may remember these two little faces from when they were just tiny kittens… Luke & Leah! 🐱🐱🌌
Well, look at them now! 🥹❤️ They’ve grown quite a bit since we first introduced them, so we thought it was time for an update!
For those who remember their story, Luke and Leah got a very unexpected start in life. A member of their present family works at a dump, and discovered these two tiny kittens inside a bag at the dump. 💔
Instead of leaving them behind, he brought them home—and that’s where their new adventure began. ❤️
Their family quickly fell in love with these two little siblings, and their teeny human gained two very special companions. 🥰
Now, Luke and Leah are older, bigger, and their personalities are really starting to shine! It’s hard to believe that these handsome and beautiful cats are the same tiny kittens we met before. 🐾
