Picture for the attentionโจ I absolutely hate to write this post, we have another groomer moving out of state this month and we have not replaced the one that retired in July. Iโve made posts everywhere I know, ran hiring ads, on Indeed and local groomer groups. If anyone knows somebody looking for a dog grooming position, please have them reach out to us whether itโs full or part time, we have the clientele!
My salon manager and myself are both training bathers to learn to cut hair but it will take a while for them to solo haircuts and in the meantime, weโre grooming dogs ourselves everyday. Please be kind and patient with reception, our answering times and appt availability. The holidays are coming and we truly have 4 full time groomers versus 7 we had last yr. Without the amount of dogs slowing down, accounting for every dog to have a spot will be impossible on our current staff. Iโll let you guys know once we find more help but for the time being, just know weโre doing our best. Iโd recommend scheduling your dog out with your current groomer for the rest of the year.
