Over The Moon Dog Grooming

Just a little reminder that you can vote DAILY! 🐾

And again, I truly want to thank every single person who nominated me for Best Groomer of Ascension Parish. It honestly means more to me than y’all know.

Being a one woman show, every appointment, referral, review, recommendation, and vote means SO much. Knowing that my clients thought enough of me to nominate me for this means the absolute world. 💗

Whether I end up taking home the title or not, just being nominated is already an honor I’m incredibly grateful for. Thank you for continuing to show up for me and for Over The Moon Dog Grooming. 🌙🐾

If you have a second, I’d love your vote today!

🐾 Grooming Scheduling Reminder! 🐾

I highly recommend rebooking your next appointment before leaving, if possible! Depending on your dog’s coat type and maintenance needs, I typically recommend grooming every 6, 8, or 10 weeks.

If you don’t rebook, I recommend reaching out at least 2 weeks in advance to make sure you can get the day and time you want.

Right now, my next available appointments are already about 2 weeks out for small dogs and 3 weeks out for big dogs, and my schedule is filling up FAST! 🐶✂️

Rebooking ahead of time is the best way to keep your pup on a consistent grooming schedule and avoid having to wait for an opening. 💕

Weekend Appointments 🚨

I’ve been getting a lot of messages about weekend appointments, so I wanted to give everyone a quick update! 🐾💕

Weekend booking is currently on pause because one of my kids is playing soccer this year, and I’m still waiting for his game schedule. ⚽️

His schedule should be released Monday. Once I have it, I’ll open up weekend appointments on the weekends that don’t have games scheduled.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding! ❤️ I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I can offer weekends again!

I need to get back to posting all my beautiful clients! 💕 So let’s start with sweet Lucy! 🐾✨

Hi everyone! I realized the last time I introduced myself here was when I first started grooming from home, and since we recently had professional photos taken, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself to all my new clients!

My name is Anjelica, but many people know me by my last name, Luna.

I've had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. Here's a fun fact though, I was actually scared of dogs as a little girl! My very first dog was a Pomeranian... that I thought was a cat! 😂 It's funny how life works because now I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I've been grooming since 2015. I started my career at PetSmart, where I learned the foundation of grooming, and in 2021 I took the leap to open my own home-based grooming business. It has been one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I'm so thankful for every client who has trusted me with their furry family members.

When I'm not grooming, I'm a busy mom of three amazing kids. Between wrestling, soccer, pageants, and dance, our schedule stays pretty full! During sports seasons, weekend appointments may be a little more limited, and I truly appreciate everyone's understanding.

One thing that's always been important to me is keeping my prices as affordable as possible while still providing quality, one-on-one care for every pet. My goal is for every dog to receive the time, patience, and attention they deserve in a calm, loving environment.

Whether you've been with me from the beginning or you're a brand-new client, thank you so much for supporting my small business. It truly means the world to me, and I can't wait to continue caring for your pups!
