I worked with Apolo and his family again yesterday. We worked on transitioning him into the goat pen and getting him trained to the electric fence. He did very well. Got out once and then figured out what we wanted. He settled very well into his job. His family will be setting him up with a moveable dog house and adding the sheep in a few days. He is learning quickly. He is going to be a great guardian.

I got to work with Apolo and his family again today. We worked on crate training, being calm and hanging with the girls. We also worked on leash training and we played in the rain. It was a great training session. Dad learned a lot of wonderful skills.

Chico, Jordan & Kayla’s service dog enjoying a cool down after a long day of work. He went to his first birthday party full of crazy teenagers and did wonderful. Many firsts to come.

Meet Chico and Jordan. They are an amazing team. This is an owner trained service dog. Chico was adopted from the shelter at 5 months. We did have some fear responses to work through and lots of confidence building for both dog and handler. They are doing amazing. We completed his access training and taught him deep pressure therapy as his first task. He is also learning to assist in wake ups in the morning. Jordan is 18 yrs old, but has proven to be a great handler. Both have grown together and are a wonderful team. I was happy to have work with them both.
