Koala fingerprints are nearly identical to human fingerprints. 🐨🖐️

Koalas have fingerprints that are so similar to human fingerprints that they can be surprisingly difficult to tell apart. Their fingertips contain loops, whorls, and ridges, despite being marsupials. Scientists believe these ridges help koalas climb and grip branches. This striking resemblance is an incredible example of independent evolutionary design.
