I am an Animal Reiki Master and Teacher. I help people create deep, personal connections with their animal companions. I help people heal their relationship with their pet, including recovering from the trauma of pet loss. As an "animal-guided healer", I have a very special focus with animals who are aging or terminally ill. My unique approach teaches human companions how to create a space of peace, calm and compassion for animals who are transitioning to the other side. I also teach pet owners how to use my one-of-a-kind Intuitive Touch for Animals™ technique to help heal their own pets. Imagine learning to "talk" to your pet with a gentle caress.....

Something has shifted with our Teotihuacan journey. ✨

What began as a retreat for up to 12 women has become something much more intimate.

By accident...or maybe divine intervention?

Our group will be fewer than 10 women, and we will have an entire private villa all to ourselves - with private accommodations for everyone.

And I couldn't be happier about it.

This is becoming exactly the kind of journey I would want to take.

Small. Personal. Adventurous. Mystical.

We'll wake up in the beauty of ancient Mexico. Explore the temples, pyramids and sacred places of Teotihuacan. Share meals and conversations. Make room for ceremony, connection, laughter, quiet moments and whatever unexpected magic finds us along the way.

And at the end of each day, we'll return to our own private villa - no crowds, no strangers, just us.

I would still love to welcome **one or two more women** into this circle.

We leave October 4, so yes, this is a last-minute adventure.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the little group of women coming with me to Teotihuacan next month.

And I realized something.

Every woman who has said yes so far is someone I already know. Someone who has learned with me, explored with me, or been part of my world in some way.

If you’ve taken one of my classes, joined me for a workshop, explored Reiki or intuition with me, gone down a rabbit hole with me, or simply followed along with this community for a while… you already know the kinds of things we explore together.

Now imagine exploring them at Teotihuacan.

Standing together at the Temple of the Sun and Temple of the Moon. Entering sacred caverns. Exploring energy, intuition and ancient wisdom. Watching the sunrise over the temples from a hot air balloon. Sharing meals and conversations and whatever unexpected experiences Teo has waiting for us.

I’ve traveled solo for the past 10 years - throughout the U.S., Europe and Mexico - and one of the most important things I’ve learned is this:

Traveling solo does not mean traveling alone.

I love getting another stamp in my passport... but that's not why I'm leading a journey to Teotihuacan.

The first five years of this decade brought more loss than I ever imagined. I said goodbye to my three senior dogs, my father, my mother-in-law, and finally, my husband.

By the spring of this year, I knew I needed something to change.

Then I received an unexpected invitation to join a spiritual retreat in Teotihuacan, Mexico.

I thought I was saying yes to an adventure.

What I found was healing.

There was something about the energy of the ancient temples, the silence of the sacred caverns, and the spirit of that extraordinary place that reached parts of my heart I didn't even realize still needed healing.
