I began working with canines in 2010 when Doggy Downtime was first launched in my hometown of Norwalk/Fairfield County, Connecticut. Soon after I began learning how to groom dogs while working with a local mobile groomer. In 2012, I moved to Denver, Colorado to participate in the Misha May Foundation’s dog trainer/behaviorist apprenticeship where I met Denver’s top trainer and behaviorist, Lorrain
e May. I continued to care for dogs while working for various pet sitting companies within the Denver Metro area and soon became a certified animal reiki practitioner through a course offered by Misha May. In 2015, I was professionally trained by Deidre Hered, a top-notch groomer of downtown Denver, and began learning to perfect breed standard haircuts. Doggy Downtime was relaunched in the Denver area in 2016 and I continue to offer professional pet care services including dog grooming and basic dog training. My love for creatures extends from fuzzy kittens to scaly reptiles and I am always happy to care for all animals larger and in-between.
