Golden Paws is grateful to be part of a community that cares. In the month of September, our staff volunteered in the following ways:

- We sent two crews to the Action Center to help families gain access to food.
- We set up a booth at the Golden Farmer's Market, giving away fruit and veggie shaped plush toys for dogs and cats.
- We handed out breakfast burritos to finishers at the Golden Gallop.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and shared these moments with us! 💛

Our team is growing! We’re thrilled to share that Dr. Carly Thaw has joined our team! She brings several years of experience and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Dr. Shaw has additional training in surgery, emergency care, and ultrasound and outside of work, you can find her exploring the outdoors and spending time with her wife. We’re excited to welcome Dr. Thaw and she looks forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

We are updating our computer systems this week, which means a slight change to our hours:

• Monday, Sept. 14th: Closing early at 3:00 PM
• Tuesday, Sept. 15th: Opening at 10:00 AM

This update will help us manage appointments, medical records, and patient care much more efficiently. As we get used to the new software on Tuesday, check-ins and check-outs might take just a few extra minutes. Thank you for your continued support and patience! 💛
