In the heart of Golden Valley, one local groomer has spent more than a decade building trust not only with pets, but with the families who love them. For Sierra, the inspiration behind the business started with a lifelong love for dogs and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives. What began as a passion eventually turned into a career centered around helping pets feel comfortable, cared for, and safe.
“Sierra’s Pet Grooming was born from a simple love of dogs and a desire to make a difference in their lives,” Sierra shared. “Some of the most important parts of grooming happen beyond the haircut earning a nervous dog’s trust, helping senior pets stay comfortable, and building relationships with families who love their pets as much as I do.”
Now entering the 11th year of serving the community, Sierra says the journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. Long days, early mornings, continued education, and countless wagging tails have all been part of the process.

“Seeing a dog that once trembled during appointments eventually walk through the door with a wagging tail is incredibly rewarding,” Sierra explained. “Moments like that remind me that grooming is about much more than appearance it’s about trust, patience, and improving a pet’s quality of life.”
Like many small business owners, Sierra has also faced emotional challenges throughout the years, especially when caring for beloved senior pets that clients have trusted her with for years. Despite the difficulty, those experiences have reinforced the heart behind the business and the importance of being present for both pets and their families.
