Happy National Black Dog Day to CSC Allie's dog, Lucy!

Lucy is an 8.5 year old boxer mix, and her favorite thing is sniffing! She enjoys going on sniff walks, playing with snuffle mats, and playing "find it" games by finding hidden treats. This is where her 12.5% of beagle comes out!

Lucy also makes Allie laugh when she tries to talk like a human. She's a vocal girl who has a lot to say!

If you have a black dog of your own, please share a photo with us in the comments!

September is Animal Pain Awareness Month! It's important to be aware of signs of pain in your pets, because they are notorious at hiding this.

Signs can be as subtle as your cat developing mats in their fur because they may not be feeling well enough or it may hurt for them to groom themselves. Another possible sign of pain can be a loss of appetite. Sometimes when a pet has a painful tooth, they will stop eating their dry food, or pieces of food may fall out of their mouth when they're trying to chew.

If your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, please give us a call to schedule an appointment!
