We were gone last week to our annual Pet Expo ( superzoo) held in Las Vegas
We saw new products, saw friends, hung out with our favorite vendors. The K9s from Desert Dogs K9 Search and Rescue Recovery were a big hit. K9 Lucy was the only basset hound in the event.

Photos from Sunday's Adult Group Basic Obedience Class, we didn't get pictures of Rocky he was late. We worked on weaving with distractions everyone did such an amazing job even the youngest one copper no one tried to grabbed the high vaule treat. We also worked on 20 foot recalls we start with 20 foot and move longer distances everyone did great. Than onto gate manners these owners and dogs have really worked hard on everything we have covered..thank you Mark Naumer for coming out to help teach the class. We even covered a new product we found at our pet expo that will be a wonderful addition to all pet owners and our Therapy K9 Teams, service dog teams and our SAR k9s we demonstrated it and the owners loved it.

Not everyone needs to handle a K9. Learn how flankers and support team members assist handlers and K9 teams during operations.

MANDATORY ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT

You must complete our organization questionnaire before attending the open house.
If we do not have a completed questionnaire on file, you will not be permitted to attend the event.

EVENT POLICIES

No dogs. Please leave all personal and working dogs at home.

No children. This open house is for adult prospective members only.

No public restrooms are available on site.

No smoking or va**ng. The facility is completely smoke-free and vape-free.

Falcon’s Vest Has Arrived! 🐾🖤

We are beyond excited to share some amazing news — K9 Falcon has officially received her K9 Storm ballistic vest! 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

Falcon was one of 15 K9s sponsored to receive a ballistic vest through the generosity of an incredible woman who chose to give back to working K9s. On top of that, three additional K9s were sponsored for much-needed medical care.
We cannot thank her enough for what she has done for these K9s. ❤️

And to everyone who donated and helped us get Falcon the protective gear she needed — THANK YOU! Your support made this possible.

This vest is more than just equipment. It is another layer of protection for Falcon while she does the work she was trained to do.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who has supported Falcon and Desert Dogs K9 Search and Rescue Recovery along the way.

Yes it spans 46,560 sq feet ( other Facilities could be picked up and fit inside ours this includes their parking lot, outdoor dog yard.)

Chomp had another awesome private in home training session, today we worked on teaching him what the command place is and how fun it is when he goes to his new cot. He was having fun running over to it. He also was leaning more about boundaries and did fabulous. His mom and dad learned part 2 of winning with your dog he sure loves getting wiped down. Great job today to his mom and dad.
