This is a demonstration of C.O.R.E. - a Gradient Scale representing the Philosophy we apply for training dogs, not to be confused with our Methodologies. For training methodologies, we are students and strict practitioners of “E-FLO,”developed by Chris Altherr.
This is Part 3 of 3 from Tseko’s first visit to a mall a while back. We shared the results in a previous video. Now we’re showing the philosophy and methods behind them.
According to Google, training a Service Dog to confidently navigate an escalator can take weeks or even months. “Experts” say it requires treats, a leash and/or corrections.
We did it in 20 minutes. With none of those “must-haves.”
We aren’t “force-free,” “balanced,” “quadrant,” or any other label. God bless those trainers and the work they do for dogs and their humans around the world.
We simply don’t adopt labels or follow typical training styles. We’re just us.
Our motto has always been, and remains:
“Documentation Beats Conversation.”
…enjoy.
