Home safe and warm!!

This female dog was found on North Bank Rogue River Road in Gold Beach today (9/2). She is microchipped but we have been unable to reach the owners on file - one number is disconnected and the other does not have a voicemail set up.

If our animals could talk, we think they’d have a whole lot to say today…
“Thank you for filling our bowls. Thank you for the treats, the toys, the blankets and all the supplies that help take care of us while we wait for our forever families. Most of all, thank you for showing us that we matter.” 🐶🐱❤️
We want to give a HUGE shout out to the Gold Beach Visitor Center for putting on an incredible month-long food and supply drive for the animals at Wild Rivers Animal Rescue!
Our community answered the call in a BIG way! The amount of supplies that came through our doors was absolutely amazing. 🥹❤️
Every bag of food, every can, every treat and every donated item represents someone in our community who cares about an animal they may have never even met.
That is pretty darn special. ❤️
To the Gold Beach Visitor Center and EVERYONE who donated…
THANK YOU for being on our animals’ side.

Sweet Rosie has found herself looking for a new home, and we’re hoping our amazing community can help! ❤️
Rosie is a 3-year-old Dachshund mix, weighing around 32 pounds. She’s a fun, active girl with plenty of personality and energy! Unfortunately, her rescuer didn’t quite realize what they were getting into with this busy little lady, and Rosie now needs a home that better matches her active lifestyle.
Our kennels are currently FULL, so we are unable to bring Rosie into the shelter. This is a courtesy post, and Rosie will remain with her current owner while we help spread the word.

Now Reveille gets to settle into the good life while she grows out that beautiful, lush coat we know she’s capable of. Just wait… this girl is going to blossom into the absolutely stunning Collie we’ve always known was underneath. 🥹🐾
