We’re helping a very special boy find the right home. ❤️

We’ve known him since he was a puppy, and he truly is such a sweet dog. He’s incredibly well socialized with other dogs and plays beautifully with them. He would likely do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help him continue building trust and confidence.

With new people, he can be shy and unsure at first. He’s not a “life of the party” kind of dog — he needs someone patient, dog-savvy, and understanding of insecure dogs. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality really shines through.

This is not an urgent placement, and he is safe staying with us while we look for the right fit. We simply have too many dogs ourselves and know he deserves more one-on-one attention and a home where he can truly settle in and thrive.

We’re looking for someone willing to give him time, structure, and kindness — and in return, they’ll get a really good boy with so much love to give. Please message us if you think you might be the right fit or would like to learn more. 🐾

Caring for others isn’t always easy, whether they have two legs or four. It takes patience, sacrifice, consistency, and so much love poured into the little things every single day. But the comfort, trust, and happiness you create means everything to those who depend on you!

Socialization isn’t just about people and other dogs…

It’s also:
• new objects
• new environments
• new sounds

To a puppy, even something as simple as a fire hydrant can feel scary at first.

The goal isn’t to force them past it—
it’s to let them process it, build confidence, and realize it’s safe 🐾

Puppies are on the way!

Faye is officially confirmed pregnant, and we’re expecting a small, thoughtfully raised English Shepherd litter. These pups will be brought up in a real home environment with a strong focus on temperament, structure, and versatility.

A couple families have already secured their spot, just a few openings remain.

Not all dogs are created by accident.

Some are created with purpose.

The English Shepherd is one of those dogs.

For generations, they’ve been intentionally bred to work alongside people on farms, in fields, and around livestock. Not just for how they look, but for how they think, move, and respond.

A good one will:
• Gather and move sheep or goats
• Keep an eye on their surroundings
• Handle vermin control naturally
• Settle into whatever job the day brings

They’re problem-solvers. Partners. Dogs that want to be useful.

And that doesn’t happen by accident.

It comes from careful, responsible breeding, protecting the traits that make them steady, capable, and reliable.

As more people return to living of their land, and small-scale farming… dogs like this still have a place.

Purpose bred doesn’t mean unnecessary.

Sometimes it means preserving exactly what makes a dog special.

We’re thinking about offering something new…

Balanced Social Sessions 🐾

A calm, controlled space designed for:
• Puppies learning social skills
• Shy or under-socialized dogs
• Dogs who do better with slower introductions

These would be:
🐾 By appointment only
🐾 Small, carefully matched groups (or private)
🐾 Focused on calm interactions and confidence building

This is not a free-for-all, the goal is safe, positive experiences that help dogs feel more comfortable and confident 👀

One thing we love about our setup…

Dogs don’t need constant chaos to be fulfilled.

Sometimes the best enrichment is just being able to observe, take it all in, and relax 🐾

(And yes… pig watching is a fan favorite 😂🐷)

If your dog is barking in the crate, this is usually why it keeps happening.

Letting them out while barking teaches them that barking works.

Instead:
• Wait for a moment of quiet
• Even 1–2 seconds is enough
• Then reward by opening the door

That’s how you get a calm, confident dog in the crate 🐾

If your dog avoids the crate, we need to change what it means to them.

Start here:
• Feed meals in the crate
• Add something calming after (like a chew)
• Let them go in willingly

We feed every dog in their own crate and it solves SO many problems.

✔️ No food stealing
✔️ No tension or guarding
✔️ No upset stomachs from the wrong food
✔️ Every dog actually relaxes while eating

Mealtime should be calm, not chaotic.

Even dogs that “get along” can feel pressure around food and that’s when issues start.

Crate feeding creates:
→ clear boundaries
→ structure
→ and a stress-free routine for everyone

And the best part? Dogs start to love going into their crates because it predicts something good 🐾

If you have multiple dogs, this is one of the easiest ways to prevent problems before they start.
