Dutchman Kennels

Couple days late, but the opener was good to us! Found a new private land spot and got to sleep in until 6:00 and still set up and ready for shooting time! Ganso got the call (veterans first…) and did a fine job!

Great day at Central Kentucky HRC hunt test! One seasoned dog and two finished dogs.

Pic 1: Young dog. Practice (built) both blinds by running from 1/2 way, then full length twice. Put her up, then got back out after the other dogs. Threw the double, picked up both, then ran both blinds. Needed just a couple handles on the last blind.

Pic 2: Older dogs. Threw both marks, picked up #2, no’d off #1, ran blind, then picked up #1.

Pic 3: Older dogs. Threw both marks, picked up #2. This took a handle in both dogs, but was successful. Ran blind, picked up #1.

Great night of work in the rain!
