We’re holding Canine Good Citizen testing TODAY at Dig It Dogs, and we’d love to see you and your dog come give it a try!

Quick note for our Let’s Go Walkers: there is NO Let’s Go Walk today. Instead, come on over and put those skills to the test! 🐕💪

There’s no shame in not passing — this is about getting out there, seeing what you and your dog can do, and finding out what you might want to work on next. Every time you try something new with your dog, you learn something. ❤️

🐾 TIKTOK TUESDAY: Why do we use slip leads at Dig It Dogs?

Simple answer: SAFETY.

When we’re walking dogs in and out of the building, we want to reduce the chance of a dog slipping out of their equipment. Dogs can sometimes back out of harnesses or flat buckle collars—especially if they get nervous, startled, or suddenly decide they really don’t want to go where you’re going. 😅

A properly fitted and properly used slip lead helps prevent a dog from backing out and gives us that extra layer of security while they’re in our care.

It may look like a small detail, but little safety practices like this matter BIG TIME when you’re responsible for someone else’s dog. ❤️🐾

That’s why you’ll see our team using slip leads when we walk your dogs at Dig It Dogs.

Those first few months with your puppy are SO important—and yes, they can also be a little wild. 😂 The biting, jumping, pulling, chewing, zoomies and the “Are you even listening to me?!” moments… we can help!

Come learn how to communicate with your puppy, build good habits from the start, work through those crazy puppy behaviors, and help your pup grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. ❤️
