Remember our emaciated boy. 🐾 Kuno 🐾. He came to us so emaciated he was on every 2 hour feeding to avoid refeeding syndrome. He was very anemic, kidney prblms due to emaciation, he is Heartworm Positive, and was weak. He had no spark, energy, not desire to interact.
Fast forward 3 weeks - 🐾 Kuno 🐾 is happy and gaining weight beautifully. He loves attention. He goes next week for more labwork and as long as it shows the same improvements then he will be able to start his very expensive Heartworm Treatment.
Kuno is just an example of 1 of the many animals we take who have been horribly neglected/abused. With your support we are able to save the lives who need us the most. Saving dogs like Kuno takes alot of resources, funds, and our commitment. It takes many hours a day around the clock of providing care. We cant do it without your support tho.
