We are so sad to share that Masshole & Co. will be closing up shop on Monday July 27th. We are so thankful to everyone who has supported us along this journey. Building this community of dog lovers, small business owners, and friends has been life changing for us. Just know that we yelled your name across our house when you put in online orders. We chatted about how your dog was doing on our days off. We worried about you if we didn’t see you for a while. We loved being your local pet store. ❤️
The truth is running a business is HARD. Times are tough for everyone. Prices are increasing constantly. Getting quality ingredients requires more effort every day. We couldn’t make more hours appear in the day or make the reality of the 2026 economy any different.
We don’t have a clear plan for what’s next. Right now we’re taking a pause. Our last weekend will be July 25th & 26th. We have already committed to hosting some other small businesses that weekend, so please come out and support them! Everything in the store will be 40% off. Stay tuned for more details on that.
