Meet sweet Benson!

Benson is extra special to us because he’s one of the handful of blind dogs we have the privilege of caring for.

Working with senior dogs with special needs takes a little extra patience, understanding, and love. We always strive to make every visit as comfortable, calm, and positive as possible for each of our clients.

🎉 GUESS WHO IS BACK?! 🎉

TERESA! ❤️

Teresa got the official okay from her doctor today to return to grooming, and we couldn’t be happier to share the news!

Taylor and her happy little helper, will continue holding down the fort for the rest of the week and weekend. We can’t thank them enough for all their hard work, flexibility, and dedication while Teresa has been recovering.

Monday, Teresa is officially BACK IN FULL SWING!

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, prayers, and support throughout this unexpected situation. The love you’ve shown our Village Dog Spa family has meant more than you know! 🥹💕

🌧️ Good morning and happy rainy Sunday! 🌧️

We wanted to share a little update before the upcoming week begins!

Teresa is doing well and is on the road to recovery! She has a follow-up appointment with her doctor on Thursday, so we’re hopeful she’ll be able to return to grooming soon. We appreciate all the love, prayers, and kind messages you’ve continued to send her way!

With that being said, we will need to reschedule some of Teresa’s appointments this week. Taylor is taking on as many additional appointments as she can manage, on top of her own schedule. She has been absolutely wonderful through all of this and we truly could not have asked for a better employee. We are so thankful to have her!

🐾 A few reminders for this upcoming week:

• Please be patient with appointment times. With Taylor taking on extra dogs, appointments may run a little longer than usual as we work to accommodate everyone.

• Please do not arrive at the shop until you’ve received a pickup message. We are doing our best to keep everything running smoothly and safely.

• If you need to reschedule due to the temporary changes, just let us know! We completely understand and are happy to work with you. We are doing everything we can to maintain the schedule as much as possible while Teresa recovers.

• MoeGo messages may take a little longer to answer. We promise we aren’t ignoring anyone! Our scheduler is also stepping in as the bather to help Taylor keep things moving. She will get back to your messages as soon as she can, and we appreciate your patience!

Our hope is that Teresa continues healing and can return to doing what she loves very soon. Until then, we are doing our very best to take care of your dogs and keep things running as smoothly as possible. ❤️

And finally, let’s show Taylor some love! 🐶💕 She has taken on the workload of two groomers over the past week and into this upcoming week, and she has done an absolutely amazing job. We are incredibly proud of her and grateful for everything she is doing for Village Dog Spa!

And just like that……. She’s FREE!❤️

We cannot express how amazing all of you have been and continue to be. Thank you to everyone who visited her, sent messages, left comments, and showed her so much love and support. It truly means more than you know.

Please continue to be patient with Taylor as she picks up some of Teresa’s appointments on top of the dogs already scheduled on her own books. We will need to move some more appointments around as we adjust the schedule until Teresa is able to return to grooming.

All of Teresa’s tests came back negative, which is great news, but unfortunately, they still do not know what caused everything or exactly what it was. She will need some time to recover before returning to grooming.

Again, thank you all for being absolutely amazing throughout all of this. We are incredibly grateful for our Village Dog Spa family. ❤️

Teresa Update ❤️

Teresa is still in the hospital and continues to receive IV antibiotics. The swelling is still about the same, possibly a little worse. She also had an MRI today, but at this time, we don’t have much else to share.

We have shared all of the incredibly sweet messages and well wishes from you all with her. She truly appreciates all of the love, prayers, and support you have shown her during this time. ❤️

We are continuing to adjust the schedule as we receive updates and figure out what the next few days will look like. Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness while we navigate everything.

Good evening! ❤️

We wanted to make this post just in case we need to move appointments throughout the week due to unforeseen circumstances that are completely out of our control.

All appointments with Teresa tomorrow have been canceled. Taylor and Ryleigh will still be in the shop as scheduled. Appointments Tuesday through the remainder of the week are currently pending and we will keep everyone updated as we know more.

Teresa is being kept at the hospital tonight. What we initially thought was a spider bite has turned into severe swelling and pain that has continued to spread throughout the day accompanied with a mild fever. She is being treated with heavy antibiotics and we are hopeful that they will get everything under control and that she will be able to use her hand again soon.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption and any inconvenience this may cause. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and kindness while we navigate this unexpected situation. ❤️
