After THREE years of hoping, waiting & wondering if Harper would ever have puppies, she finally did. We feel so blessed & grateful.
We purchased Harper & our Daddy Doodle (unrelated) from Moonlit Acres in Washington, specifically with the hopes of breeding her. Despite multiple attempts over the years, we believed she would not have the privilege of being a mother. We had pretty much accepeted that maybe it just wasn't goIng to happen. And then, SURPRISE!
Harper gave birth to the tiniest little litter on Friday. One little boy & one little Girl.
And because Harper has always had a bit of a talent for disappearing, causing chaos, and keeping us on our toes, it feels appropriate that these two be named BONNIE & CLYDE! Our tiny little OUTLAW duo.
We're still shocked that after all this time, Harper finally became a mama. There may only be two of them, but they already feel pretty special.
Bonnie is a beautiful Cream color, while Clyde sports a gorgeous red coat with white markings on his chest. We will be looking for a guardian family for Bonnie.

One more happy Doodle Family! I love hearing from our puppy families.

Handing puppies over to their new families, for me, is always bittersweet. I bond with each of the puppies, and it is hard to let them go. That is the bitter; the SWEET is seeing scenes like this one.
