**HOPE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! ♥️**
Hope is searching for her FUREVER home!

Hope is an 8/9 month old Mountain Curr mix who was returned to our rescue. While we are still currently closed, we couldn’t turn our backs on her. She was returned due to NO fault of her own, and she’s a very sweet timid girl.
She is on a “weight management” diet to help her get back to a healthy weight. She’s on the smaller side of being a medium sized dog.

Hope is kennel trained, mostly potty trained, and seems to do well with other dogs. She has been with a foster during this snow storm, so we are learning more about her as we go. She is shy around new men, but seems to warm up quickly!

When Hope was brought into our rescue, she was covered in mange. This little girl is definitely a fighter and deserves to find her own family!

We are searching for preferably her forever adoptive home, but in the meantime we need a long-term foster as well. Her current foster can only temporarily keep her…

🌟 A Quick Update from NRPR🌟

While we are not reopening our rescue at this time, we have taken two dogs back into our care to help them find new homes. It's always a sad experience to bring them back, but our commitment to their well-being remains strong. We will be working hard to ensure they get the love and care they need until their forever families are found. Stay tuned for more updates!

We are still working hard to pay off bills from our time operating, including significant debt on CareCredit, and any donations you can make will go directly toward helping us manage these expenses and provide for the dogs we've taken back in. These ongoing financial commitments are a challenge, but with your help, we can continue caring for the dogs who need us most.

We will be posting information on our available dogs soon.

If we can find enough dedicated fosters, we are considering reopening our doors in the future to help more dogs in need. So, if fostering has ever crossed your mind, now might be the perfect time to get involved!

In other news, we’re sending a BIG Happy 1st Birthday to Bunny’s litter! ( January 14th) 🎉 These pups have come so far and are all growing into incredible dogs. A special shoutout to:

Guys, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that we have 6 dogs on this transport to IL/WI!! The only dogs left in our rescue are Bruce and Pongo. That’s AMAZING!! You guys rock!
We couldn’t continue running without transporting. 5 adoptions just on this trip!! I can’t even explain how excited I am!

Transporting is NOT cheap and tonight we will be traveling MANY miles! I will be meeting Angel (IL Director) in Marion IL, and she will take the dogs north from there! Please help us hope for safe travels 💖 In total, between all of our directors we will be traveling 2202 miles!

We have an unfortunate announcement to make.

Like most rescues in our area, we have been struggling for a while. The support is down, and our expenses are way up. We have spent so much in the past few months, honestly it’s going to take us years to financially recover. Vet bill here, feed bills there.. our credits are maxed out.
After a long discussion between our directors, there’s genuinely no way we can continue operating. We appreciate all of the support and donations we have received, but it doesn’t scratch the surface of what we owe. We have been drowning and finally we have sunk.
We are officially closing our rescue.
We still would like to help our community, but we have to recoup first. On our transport I got into an accident, causing some pretty expensive damage to my car. Thankfully everyone is okay (dogs included) but, this has been exhausting. I’m a one man band here in Arkansas, and I can’t do this alone anymore.

We’d like to sincerely thank everyone for supporting us. Our raffle fundraiser is still open to help pay on vet bills. We owe over $3500 right now between credit cards, accounts, etc. Donations are still appreciated to help us catch up. We hope to come back to rescuing one day, we just aren’t sure when.
We still have Bruce & Pongo available for adoption. They desperately are looking for their forever homes.

URGENT REQUEST 🔔‼️

As most of our followers know, we are less than a week away from our transport! We have 3 dogs for sure going north, and we are hoping to fill more slots. Between the vetting necessary for this trip, and food we have DRAINED our accounts!! Right now we are solely relying on personal funds. We NEED donations to make this transport possible! 💔
We are estimating to spend atleast $500 on this trip. Glenwood AR, to Crandon WI is ALOT of miles and that’s not counting the stops in between. Please help us get these dogs to their new forever homes!
