This is a very busy and BIG week for us. In addition to our normal busy schedule we are hosting a HUGE free TNR event. Emails have been sent to everyone who registered. We got as many in as we could. We are helping over 200 cats on Monday! Our team is small but mighty.

On Monday we will be focused on the TNR clinic and will be closed to all regular calls/requests/appointments. Our team will be back at the phones/texts/emails on Tuesday so please be patient with us, we are trying to do a really good thing for souls that don't have much help.

On Tuesday we are closed to regular wellness appointments as we have a rescue that has a huge project they are working on that they need our help with. If your pet is sick/injured please send us a text message or email and we'll do our best to help. If it's urgent or an emergency please don't wait to hear from us. Seek out the closest urgent care/ER facility. VEG is wonderful!

On Wednesday we will be closed. All staff will be off. This is vet tech week for those of you not in the vet field. We celebrate our hard working, vital, highly intelligent vet nurses for all their dedication throughout the year. We are fortunate enough that all of our CSR staff is also cross-trained as vet assistants. It's impossible to give them the world (because let's be honest that's what they deserve) so the next best thing is a day off and lunch out on the town.

Thursday and Friday are normal days of operation for us!

Please if you need us this week reach out, be patient and know that we are all working hard behind the scenes to help as many people and pets as we can every day.

This time of year is extremely busy as all the community cats are trying to pop out that last litter and our pets are coming due for vaccines. We will work as hard as we can to get everyone the help that they need.

If anyone would like to donate to help with the TNR day please use this link: https://app.clinichq.com/online/2ab3fe26-acbf-43cf-b1c6-731f3b3bdd04/donations/cf116873-96cf-427a-ad8b-24c7457ec9da

10/05/2026: We appreciate the amount of participation we have for this event. At this time, we have closed off registration. If you are interested in attending, please email us at [email protected] to get put onto our waiting list incase someone has to cancel.

10/04/26 Update/Edit: We are so happy to see so much participation in this event. A few reminders...
🐾An appointment needs to be scheduled for each cat. Please do not submit appointments with the name set as, "Feral 1-3" or "10 Ferals" or a note. One needs to be made for each cat.
🐾Do not pay the $100. If it is showing a $100 balance, you need to make sure you select the package at the end.
🐾We are firm on our policy regarding services our veterinarians deem necessary. Our mission is to provide the care each animal needs so they can leave us as healthy and comfortable as possible. This mission includes ferals. If they are sick and have wounds, we will treat them and there will be a fee for anything administered/dispensed.

In honor of National Feral Cat Day, we are pleased to announce a free TNR day!

🐾 Prevention Is Easier (and More Affordable) Than Treatment! 🐾

At Fix'n Wag'n INC., we believe every pet deserves protection from preventable parasites without breaking the bank. That's why we offer affordable flea, tick, and heartworm prevention options to help keep your furry family members healthy year-round.

🦟 Heartworms- Heartworm disease is spread through mosquito bites and can cause serious damage to your pet's heart, lungs, and blood vessels. Treatment is costly, lengthy, and can be hard on your pet—but prevention is simple and highly effective.

🕷️ Ticks- Ticks can transmit dangerous diseases that affect both pets and people. Regular prevention helps reduce the risk of tick-borne illnesses and keeps your pet more comfortable outdoors.

🐜 Fleas- A single flea can quickly turn into an infestation. Fleas can cause itching, skin infections, allergic reactions, and even transmit parasites. Prevention helps stop problems before they start.

✔ Protects your pet from serious diseases
✔ Prevents uncomfortable itching and skin irritation
✔ Saves money compared to treating parasite-related illnesses
✔ Helps protect your home and family from infestations
✔ Gives you peace of mind

Don't wait until you see fleas, find a tick, or face a heartworm diagnosis. Prevention is one of the most important investments you can make in your pet's health.

📞 Contact Fix'n Wag'n today to learn about our affordable prevention options and find the right product for your pet's lifestyle and needs.
Healthy pets start with prevention!
