🎨 Local Artist Spotlight at Downtown Dogs! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Glens Falls artist Rodney Allen Bentley to Downtown Dogs on Saturday, June 20th from 9 AM–Noon!

Rodney creates stunning 11” x 14” framed charcoal pet portraits for just $120. Each portrait comes professionally framed and ready to either hang on your wall or display on a tabletop.

And no—your pet does not have to sit still for hours! 😆 Simply send Rodney a few photos from your phone, and he’ll create a beautiful custom portrait from those images. If your pet is nearby, he may also be able to take reference photos himself.

Portraits are typically completed within 10–14 days (often sooner!) and can be picked up directly from Rodney’s studio. Payment is due only when your portrait is finished and picked up. Cash is preferred, but checks and Venmo are also accepted.

Whether you’re celebrating a beloved companion or looking for the perfect gift for a pet lover, these one-of-a-kind portraits are sure to be treasured for years to come. ❤️🐶🐱

What an incredible day at Pet Fest! 🐾💜

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Downtown Dogs booth, supported the event, and helped us give back to some amazing organizations. Because of your generosity — and Darian clipping a whole lot of nails all day long — we were able to raise money for Lucky Puppy Rescue, Warren Washington County Animal Shelter, and North Shore Animal League! 🐶✨

Caitlin had the honor of serving as a judge for both the Dogs Got Talent competition and the Costume Contest, while also working alongside DJ Young Pete to help keep the event running smoothly from start to finish. 🎤🐕

Downtown Dogs is proud to be a sponsor of such an amazing community event, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate pets, rescue organizations, and local businesses with us. We already can’t wait for next year! 💜🐾
