Animal abusers are like a disease😷
First, we must identify what the disease is🤔The abusers must be located, and exposed‼️
Next, we must eliminate the disease and in this case, prosecute and lock them up👍 They must be an example. Vote YES for animal abuse registry.
Did you know Washington County said NO to development of the abuse registry this year ⁉️
There is no excusing the torture and neglect and abuse of animals—not a mental illness, not any underlying excuse. These people have help they can get. They hurt the innocent animals that are vulnerable and unable to help themselves—frozen and chained to trees, starved in crates, thrown away in dumpsters, burned alive, abandoned….
We must develop an animal shelter capable of providing education to the public for the care and treatment of animals. We need spay and neuter programs that are organized and readily available. We need a shelter so that law enforcement can actually do their job, not stall until the animals have a place to go and be safe. That place is an animal shelter:open 24/7, on call with an investigation team, a triage team…..
If the county doesn’t provide a shelter then I ask, aren’t they complicit in the crime ⁉️
If we do not shed light on disease, then we don’t know how to slow it, perhaps eradicate it before it becomes a crisis, as we currently have with animal abuse cases in Washington County🧐😢
