It was a day well spent until the tire went on the truck! We went to the river and boy is it running high right now! And then we went for a beautiful drive up box elder! It felt good to get out and about again, then to have the truck break down on us all over again! Life is great, we have to take it in strides. We have to look at all the wonderful things that we have around us and realize that the bad things are just little hills that we climb everyday.

I hope you all had a safe 4th of July!

Well everyone, I'd like you all to welcome our newest female to the pack! This is Toph! She is a chocolate heeler that I got from a lovely rancher up in the northern part of the state! She is out of generations of working stock and both her dad and her mom work cows every single day!

Little Miss Toph has definitely acted like she just belongs here since day one. She hasn't really had any incidents with the older dogs and she follows along like she knows where to go! I am so excited to see what this little lady will bring in the future!!

Now that my leg is better, we have been able to enjoy this beautiful weather! The dogs sure did not like me being laid up for the last 6 weeks, it definitely took a toll on them and me as well! But we're getting back out there and they are enjoying the exercise as much as I am.

Thankfully she didn't get too close. Only a couple of quills and they weren't very deep so they were easy to pull out!

Look at these faces! If you or someone you know needs a good cowdog, come this way.
