Crush will be at The Coffee Grinder until 3pm today. Come by and grab a sweet treat and give crush some love. Fingers crossed his future family takes him home today. 🧡

Crush is a very sweet boy with lots of love to give and tons of curiosity. His adoption fee is $65 and that covers his neuter, rabies/upper respiratory vaccines, deworming and flea prevention.

It was Sunflower’s turn getting a break from the shelter. After checking out the office she settled in for a nap on a soft blanket before heading outside. She enjoyed wading through the water and saying hi to some new humans and getting pets. I think the nap was her favorite activity. Sunflower is around five years old, is not cat friendly but is dog friendly. She walks great on a leash and seems to be house trained. Adoption fee is paid for by Friends Of Glenpool Shelter. The shelter is still over capacity and we urgently need adoptions in order to save em. Please continue to share our postings. 🌻

Pete is available for adoption. He has been at the shelter since the middle of July after being found as a stray. Pete is well behaved, walks great on a leash, house trained and is dog friendly. Pete is guessed to be around 4-5 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. He was excited to be away from the shelter today. He met some new people and treated them as if they were best buddies. Pete’s adoption fee is being sponsored by Friends Of Glenpool Shelter.

Lil Foot broke out of the shelter for a bit and enjoyed some down time relaxing and enjoying the cool weather by the pond. He is guessed to be around 7-9 months old. He is one of 4 siblings that are looking for new homes. He is dog friendly and been face to face with our resident cat George. It’s unknown how house trained he is. He does okay on a leash and does great off leash once he is bonded with his person. He was not walked on leash any time at the pond. Prior to coming to the shelter he was a backyard dog never being allowed in the home. Lil Foot will need a patient and understanding home that will help him acclimate to being in a home for the first time. His adoption fee along with all of our shelter dogs has been sponsored by Friends Of Glenpool Shelter. The shelter is at capacity with no open kennels. We cannot continue to operate at capacity. All dogs are at risk.
