Hi everyone ,
As many of you have heard, there was a horrific motorcycle accident that happened Monday in the heart of Glenmont. With great sorrow, it was my step son Mason. Many of my clients from petsmart , and from my home grooming have met him before. He was always one to come say hi or introduce himself when someone pulled up to the house.
I am honestly at a loss of words for what to say on here right now other than I am so eternally grateful for the love and support that my family and I have received in the past few days. We have no idea how to navigate something like this and the love we are getting from the community is really helping us right now..
Many of you have already donated to the go fund me that masons best friend made, we love you all so much for it. If you haven’t and would like to, Jordan was kind enough to link it on the Shawna’s dogs page. We can’t imagine a world with out our Mase
I know all of you have been waiting patiently for your grooming appointments, as I’ve been booked for a few weeks at a time already. I am going to be taking some time off , so if your dogs are in desperate need of a clean up I would 100% reach out to my dear friend Lyssa, she is a local groomer in ravena with lots of experience, with a salon called Little Stinkers. I will get back to your messages as soon as I can I promise
Coming from a Mother-figure stand point, my message is this ; please be kind to one another, put your phones down, watch out for motorcycles and bikes and pedestrians. Use your blinkers, take your time , and pay attention to what you’re doing while you’re driving. No one should ever have to endure something like this. Sometimes you get caught up in the hustle and bustle of every day life and you forget about what actually matters.
Hug your kids and family members. Take all the photos you can. Make plans to see eachother. The rest of it isn’t important.
Again, thank you so much , I love you all so much, and I will be back soon.
Xoxo,
