✨️ Trinity ✨️

This week we will feature each support staff member with a fun NOW and THEN photo 🤗

Trinity has been with AZAD since March. She is our client service representative and veterinary assistant. She is new to the field, but has quickly gained communication skills to assist pet owners on the phone and in person. She helps clean instruments, create go home goodie bags, and discusses post operative discharge instructions. She loves to assist with blood draws, obtaining vitals, and unpacking inventory. Her heart is with all little dogs that come through our office. ❤️

We are very grateful to have her on the team 🤍

Give her a shout out in the comments ‼️

✨️ Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week! ✨️

We want to take the time to celebrate the backbone of a team: our hardworking technicians. 🩺💉🐶🐱

They are dedicated to ensuring your pets are receiving proper, high-quality care. They are setting up the operating room, instruments, and equipment. They are placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running laboratory testing, and monitoring anesthesia. They are communicating with pet owners about the importance of preventative medicine, vaccinations, and microchipping. They often stay late to make sure the clinic is clean and tools are sterilized. They often skip lunch to snuggle your pet after surgery. They often lie awake at night thinking about how your pet is doing.

This profession is rewarding, challenging, and exhausting. We ask that you join in on the appreciation by leaving a "❤️", or a comment, or compliment in our jar in the lobby throughout the week.

There's nothing better than a good BEFORE and AFTER series ‼️🤗

This young pup was exhibiting signs of periodontal disease:

⚠️ Bad Breath/Halitosis
⚠️ Brown Buildup/Plaque
⚠️ Red and Inflamed Gums/Gingivitis

A comprehensive oral examination, full mouth intraoral radiographs, scaling, polishing, and application of Sanos barrier sealant were performed on this patient.

Staying on top of your pet's oral care is crucial, even at young ages. Want to have your pet seen for a dental consultation? Call us at (623) 255- 1455

Ozzy really is a ✨️ special boy ✨️

With an unknown history prior to his recent adoption, we examined this sweet pup and found a few concerning conditions:

He had an umbilical hernia, tapeworms, ticks, skin infection, drooping lower lip, and severe bone loss surrounding his lower canine. But, in true pug fashion, he continued to wag his tail 🤍

Swipe to watch the progression of his healing ➡️

Numerous extractions of retained roots, non-vital dentition, and a severely diseased lower canine... Treatment with Nexgard, Praziquantel, pain medications, and antibiotics...He is feeling 1000x better 🥰
