🔥Many of you by now have probably heard about the Hydra Fire in Meridian, Texas. While I’m a Glen Rose native, Meridian will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I met my husband, got proposed and married at, brought our 1st child home to, right there on Bosque St. And now they need our help.
As of Wednesday morning, the fire is at 1,100 acres and 25% containment. Our first responders are working endlessly. While they fight, evacuation orders have been put into place. As of right now evacuation orders have been lifted, but residents in some areas are encouraged to remain evacuated per city officials.
The Bosque County Sheriff’s Office stated this morning in a post on Facebook that residents in the evacuation zone should be ready in case the city is evacuated again today.
With that being said, if you or someone you know is evacuated and needs a place for their dogs PLEASE REACH OUT. Farmhouse Kennels is happy to care for any dogs FREE OF CHARGE that are displaced due to evacuation of the Hydra Fire.
Below in the shared post is also a list of Venmos from volunteer fire departments who are working tirelessly to keep that sweet community safe! Please donate if you can.❤️
And please keep everyone involved in your prayers. Thanks Farmhouse Fam!
