Did you know that it takes 52 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews IN A ROW to move your Google rating from 4.8 to 4.9? Did you know it takes 1 ⭐️ review to bump you back down to 4.8? We know this because it happened to us. That 4.9 was good while it lasted that one day. 😆The ⭐️ reviewer said our crust on our sourdough was very sour. The inside was good though. Service was 4, atmosphere 4 but they gave us 1 star. You can’t make this up. Reviews matter y’all. Small businesses rely heavily on them. Especially in tourist areas like both of our locations are. We’re so thankful for all those who have taken the time to review us!! if we screw up, we will sure own it but boy do I have to BITE my tongue over the ridiculous ones. 🤐

💙 Adopt Me – I Need a Fresh Start 💙

This sweet 2-year-old male Australian Shepherd is looking for a patient, understanding home to call his own. He’s currently at Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic and is scheduled to be neutered on April 14, 2026.

He’s a sensitive boy who is still learning to feel safe in the world. Right now, he’s very skittish and unsure, but we’ve seen glimpses of his gentle, playful side—especially with female staff members he’s starting to trust. He does best with women and is currently fearful of men.

Because of his anxiety, he will need:
🐾 A quiet home with no other pets
🐾 No children
🐾 A patient adopter willing to go slow and build trust

With time, love, and consistency, this boy has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. He just needs someone willing to give him that chance.

If you or someone you know can provide a calm, stable environment for him, please reach out to Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic for more information.

Let’s help him find the safe, loving home he deserves. 🐾

Screwworms. I have personally seen and treated these bast@@. They are very aggressive maggots and feed on live flesh. When you find them them, its not one - more like a hundred squirming beasts. This close they’ll pop up in Texas next summer. They go after soiled coats, wounds, even ears.
Currently just south of Brownsville.
