SUSQUEHANNA EQUESTRIAN CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT - - After 13 years of leading the SEC, I, Lillian Basom , will be stepping down as president of the Susquehanna Equestrian Club as of January 1, 2025. I've absolutely loved meeting this amazing horse community of ours, bringing people together for wonderful programming, and putting on incredible pace events. I'm at a spot in my life where my focus needs to be elsewhere and it continues to get harder to put on club activities and the PaceMaker. So, unfortunately, this October 27th PaceMaker will be my last PaceMaker event. I hope to maybe return to putting on these events in the future - I truly have loved them!

I want to thank every single person who ever hosted us for programs and came to our meetings and volunteered at/attended our pace events - especially those of you who have been my dedicated team who come to everything and help at every event. I couldn't have done it all these years without you. Love you all!

Thank you all who came out and made our 12th annual Pacemaker event a success! We had 57 riders, which helped raise a wonderful donation to benefit the York County Regional Mounted Unit! We absolutely could not put on events like these without the support and help of our fantastic volunteers! A huge thank you to Julie Keim for keeping our times straight and to Anna Raschi and Paula Anderson for handling registration. Thanks to our checkpoint volunteers for keeping riders on track and safe on course, Lynne Kastor, Cindy Mellor , Sherri Groh, Liette Monic , Debra Houpt Weber , and Hans Weber. And a big thank you to Gwen Cunningham for taking down the course!
We appreciate our riders and volunteers for all your support! Ribbons will be ordered this week, so please be patient with their arrival. We'll see you in the Fall for our Fall Fest PaceMaker in Lancaster County Park in October!
