Tomorrow – Saturday, 10/17: It’s the Greyhounds Only Social at Pollyanna Social!

We will be hanging out in the park across the street from Pollyanna Social, and while there are a few picnic tables, we highly recommend bringing your own chairs!

Please remember to bring only greyhounds with you for the safety and enjoyment of all of the other dogs in attendance. If your greyhound is scared of loud noise, it may be best to leave your four-legged friend at home, since the park is adjacent to train tracks which can be very noisy.

Make sure to make it by 2 p.m. to get in on all of the fun prizes, shop for jewelry at Bejeweled Brass Relics, and to find out what the surprise activity is!

We are getting in a mingling mood with the Greyhounds Only Social at Pollyanna Social only a few days away!

If you are planning on bringing your dog, please only bring him/her if she/he is a greyhound. We ask because we want to make sure the event can be as enjoyable as possible for everyone. While it is being held in a public park, and there may be other dogs walking through or nearby, we do ask that the Social itself remain "greyhounds only."

We know that some of our hounds aren't small-dog friendly or comfortable around other breeds, and we want to make sure all of our greyhounds can enjoy a safe, fun, and relaxing afternoon. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep this a greyhound-friendly gathering! ❤️

A heads-up about the train tracks!
Pollyanna Social and the park are very close to the train tracks. If your hound is sensitive to loud noises, please keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring them.

Don't forget your chairs!
We HIGHLY recommend bringing your own camp chairs and blankets! There will be some tables available, but they tend to fill up quickly.

Greyhounds Only Social Hoodie Flash Sale! 👀

Attention friends and family of Greyhounds Only, Inc....this is a very limited pre-sale for our Greyhounds Only Social hoodies! The ordering window is open for a very limited time, and the store will close at 11:59 PM on October 1st...so if you want one, don't wait!

There are two different versions of the hoodie available, so please make sure you double-check that you are ordering the version you want before placing your order.

One very important thing to note...these will not be shipped to individuals! All hoodies will be delivered to Pollyanna Social and available for pickup at the Greyhounds Only Social at Pollyanna Social on 10/17/2026. Pickup at the event only! Of course, if you really want one and can't attend , you can coordinate for an attendee to pick it up for you!

We now have the 2027 Celebrating Greyhound Calendars for sale in a limited quantity, as we are planning our own Greyhounds Only calendar for 2027 to come out soon.

The Greyhound Project, in collaboration with Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, creates the beautiful, high quality Celebrating Greyhounds monthly wall calendar each year for adoption groups to resell as a fundraiser. Photos are submitted by adopters, and each photo identifies the dog(s),
