🍁🍎 It’s farmers market Wednesday in Elmhurst!

There’s still time to enjoy some of the season’s local favorites before the market wraps up for the year.

The Elmhurst Farmers Market is open today from 7 AM–1 PM at 149 W. Brush Hill Road, featuring fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, and plenty of local vendors.

We love supporting the people and small businesses that make our communities special! ❤️

One friendly reminder for fellow pet lovers: The market doesn’t allow pets, except trained service animals.

So let your pup enjoy a neighborhood walk before you head out to do a little shopping! 🐕🍂

Halloween excitement is building around Bensenville!

This Saturday, October 24, the Bensenville Park District is hosting its annual Monster Mash!

From 11 AM–2 PM at Varble Park, families can enjoy trunk-or-treating, carnival games, a pumpkin patch, a costume contest, and plenty of other Halloween fun!

We love seeing our local communities come together for events like this. ❤️

Meanwhile, our four-legged friends have been busy investigating all the pumpkins, skeletons, and mysterious decorations appearing around the neighborhood. 😂🐾

Sometimes a simple walk puts you in the right place at the right time. 🐾❤️

We were walking through the neighborhood we’re moving to when a worried owner stopped and asked us to watch for their little Chihuahua who had gotten loose.

Later, we spotted DuPage County Animal Services stopping at a home nearby. We walked over and learned a neighbor had found him! His family had given us their address, so we passed it along to the officer.

As we made our way around the block, we saw his owner outside and shared the good news. Moments later, we got to see them reunited. ❤️

Thank you to the kind neighbor who kept him safe and Animal Services for getting him home. From our Happy Walks family to yours—keep looking out for each other and those little paws. 🐶

A little love for the places we love to explore! 🌿🍂

One of the best things about caring for pets around Elmhurst is getting to appreciate our beautiful neighborhoods and natural spaces every day.

This Saturday, October 17, the Elmhurst Park District is hosting a volunteer morning at Keith A. Olson Prairie.

Volunteers help care for this special natural area through restoration, invasive plant removal, and cleanup.

We love seeing our community come together to keep Elmhurst beautiful for everyone! ❤️

The Elmhurst Park District is hosting its Howl-A-Ween Dog Costume Contest at Canine Corner on October 31!

We’re expecting some pretty creative four-legged costumes around town this Halloween. 😂

The real question is whether your dog enjoys dressing up or gives you that look that says, “Seriously?”

We want to know! What’s your pup dressing up as this year? 👻🐾

Villa Park has some interesting new residents along the Prairie Path this October! 💀🍂

The village’s Skeleton Squad has been popping up along the trail, with decorated skeletons adding a little Halloween personality to the neighborhood.

We can only imagine what some of our four-legged walking companions would think of them. 😂🐕

Some dogs would walk right past. Others would need a full investigation before proceeding.

A little fall fun for our Villa Park neighbors! 🍁🐾

The 4th Annual Autumn Jubilee is happening this Saturday, October 10, and we’re especially happy to see local animal rescue groups included in the festivities! ❤️

There will be food, music, vendors and plenty of community fun along the Illinois Prairie Path.

We love seeing our neighboring communities come together, especially when animals are part of the celebration.
