Baltimore Critter Society

Baltimore Critter Society Baltimore Critter Society is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, & adoption of reptiles and small mammals.

The Baltimore Critter Society is 100% volunteer run, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of abandoned, homeless, and owner surrendered reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. We offer boarding for alike animals (if we have room) and we also do parties/events for a small fee. That fee goes towards the rehabilitation of our animals in rescue.

🚨 Urgent Foster Call – Baltimore Critter Society 🚨
We are in urgent need of foster homes for snakes, bearded dragons, and other reptiles. Right now, we are extremely limited on space, and with summer approaching, our intake numbers are increasing faster than adoptions.
We provide support for our foster animals.
Fostering is a great opportunity for: 🦎 Students needing volunteer hours
🐍 Boy Scouts working toward their Herpetology Merit Badge
🌿 STEM programs interested in creating bioactive enclosures
πŸ“š Teachers looking for an educational classroom foster animal
❀️ Animal lovers who want to make a difference
Every foster home opens up space for us to rescue another animal in need. Without fosters, our ability to help reptiles and small animals becomes very limited.
Please consider fostering or share this post with friends, family, schools, scout troops, and community groups. Together, we can continue helping more animals find safe and loving homes.
Baltimore Critter Society needs your help now more than ever. Thank you for supporting rescue and education in our community!

We want to give a big THANK YOU to Aubrie Santuccio-Wever for raising over three hundred dollars toward our vet bills. If you use VCA Calvert Veterinary Center in Pasadena, thank her the next time you are in there. If you don't use them, you should.

Just an FYI. Turtles are coming up from brumation. Please do not take them, leave them be. If they are sick or injured find a rehabber. It is illegal to take them, you need permits to own them. If you would like to own one please check Mid Atlantic Turtle and Tortoise Society or Dean's Turtle Farm. Picture courtesy of Dean's.
