Sweet Sky has a vet appointment at 3 pm today. He’s weak, lethargic and definitely not feeling well.
We’re short on our fundraiser for him + sometimes we wonder if he’d get more donations if he was a cute kitten.
Every $10 matters.

Cat rescue can be brutally hard. You see things. Hard and cruel things. But seeing this former street cat feel safe enough to sleep like this? A reminder that for every hard moment, there’s multiple beautiful moments. ❤️

Happy 🫶🏻 It’s been a busy week w/ Sky needs to get tested for Addison’s disease. His QOL would greatly improve if he does have Addison’s + gets proper treatment. Thankfully, there’s a test for that. We’re not giving up.

We couldn’t turn this sweet senior boy away. We’re not sure how Sky got those wounds on his neck but he’s going to the vet on Tuesday for antibiotics + a checkup. Currently, he’s getting good food, wound care, and love.

This is Sky. He came from the same cat colony as Pepper and Pharaoh. He’s friendly, not feral but he has two wounds that need medical attention. Can you help this sweet senior boy?

Look at how much Pepper the rescue is growing. 🥰 He’s all legs and toe beans.

The human has been out in the field helping with kitten season (spay and neuter your pets). It’s really bad this year. 😩

She may be nearby or hidden … friendly or fearful. But her story doesn’t end just because her kittens are found.

She’s still out there—struggling, surviving, and at risk of bringing more litters into a hard life.

No one is asking you to bring her inside. But she does need help in the way that matters most: being spayed. ❤️

Because this is about more than one litter.

Saving a kitten matters—but leaving mom behind means the cycle continues. 😿

It’s not glamorous, there’s no awards, no accolades, and no money in it but it’s the right thing to do. Every day we feed over 15 cats that have been abandoned (like Tiger Cat), are feral, or are wandering strays.

The majority are trapped (by us) and spayed/neutered or scanned for a microchip. If they have the right temperament, we work to get them fostered/adopted. If not, they become part of our community cat crew.

We feed them 2x day, every day, through rain, snow, sunshine.

If we don’t care for these forgotten cats, who will?
